Stember Feinstein Doyle & Payne, LLC assists employees in obtaining the wages - including overtime - that they are properly owed from their employers.  We have much experience in handling cases under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Pennsylvania’s Wage Payment and Collection Law (WPCL).

Hourly employees are entitled to be paid for every hour worked.  Some employers require employees to perform some of their work “off the clock,” such as working at home, working during lunch, and working before or after the “official” start of the workday.  Training time is always compensable; travel time may be as well.  If your employer does not pay you for all of your time worked, you may be entitled to additional wages, liquidated damages, and payment of your attorney’s fees.

Hourly employees are also entitled to overtime pay for the time worked in excess of 40 hours during a work week.  Employees who are paid a regular salary may be entitled to overtime wages if the employer mistakenly considers an employee “exempt” from the FLSA and the WPCL.

If you have a dispute over payment of wages or overtime, please contact Stember Feinstein Doyle & Payne, LLC.  We can determine if you have a valid claim, and the means of pursuing a recovery, under the FLSA or the WPCL.   If your claim for wages, overtime, vacation or holiday pay, or other fringe benefits is successful, you may be entitled to liquidated damages and the payment of your attorney’s fees.
